We serve over 450,000 children and parents at over 1,700 sites in California. Currently, Bring Me A Book delivers our early literacy programs in Silicon Valley, Oakland & the East Bay, Greater Sacramento Valley, San Francisco & Marin Counties, San Joaquin & Stanislaus Counties, and Southern California.

Silicon Valley, California
Since 2004, Bring Me A Book has delivered Bookcase Libraries and First Teachers to state funded preschools, Head Starts, Child Development Centers, elementary schools (K - 3rd grade), clinics, shelters and community centers in Santa Clara and San Mateo Counties. Oakland and the East Bay, California
Our Oakland office launched in early 2008 thanks to generous funding from the Rogers Family Foundation, The McMurtry Family Foundation, the Oakland Fund for Children and Youth, and the East Bay Community Foundation. Bring Me A Book Oakland and the East Bay serves state funded preschools, Head Starts, elementary schools, childcare centers and faith based organizations throughout Oakland and the East Bay including Hayward, Fremont, Richmond and Alameda. Bring Me A Book Central Valley launched in September 2006, thanks to grants from the Frank H. and Eva B. Buck Foundation and the Albright Family Foundation. The program serves children and families in both San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties. Southern California
Bring Me A Book Southern California launched in October 2005, thanks to a grant by the Norris Foundation. A 2008 grant from the California Community Foundation funded full time Regional Manager Dale Petrulis in addition to staff members Barb Egyud and Colleen Triesch who deliver programs in Los Angeles County and greater Southern California, focusing on state funded preschools and child daycare centers.
