Books that cross borders open doors

No matter what language a child speaks at birth, hearing that language through daily read-aloud sessions from birth is critical to the child’s success as a reader. This is why the mission of Bring Me A Book knows no boundaries. We are delighted to have brought our program to Asia, Africa, North America and Central America.

“Those meaningful sounds in the ear now will help the child make sense of the words coming in through the eye later when learning to read.”

—Jim Trelease, award-winning journalist, education speaker, and author of NY Times Bestseller The Read-Aloud Handbook
