Bringing books to the children who need them the most has taken Bring Me A Book far beyond our local community in Mountain View, California.

We serve over 400,000 children and parents at over 1,200 sites in California, 14 states, and 7 countries.  To help us best serve the children who need our assistance, we have headquarters in the Bay Area, plus satellite offices established in four locations:

San Joaquin County, California

Our San Joaquin office launched in September 2006, thanks to grant from the Frank H. and Eva B. Buck Foundation.   Our current focus is on Stockton, but the office is quickly expanding to serve other areas in San Joaquin.  Our San Joaquin Regional Manager is Robert Morrow, EdD, a professor emeritus at the University of the Pacific.  Contact Bob at rmorrow@bringmeabook.org

Sacramento County, California

Our Sacramento office launched in October 2007, thanks to a grant from the Morgan Family Foundation.  This office serves school districts in Sacramento and surrounding counties focusing initial on pre-schools and child development centers.  By the end of 2008, we plan to roll out our programs in over 65 sites.  For more information about Bring Me A Book and the greater Sacramento region (including Placer, Yolo, Sutter, El Dorado, and Nevada Counties), contact Jane Tsai Weaver at jtsai@bringmeabook.org.

Marin County, California

Our Marin County office launched in January 2007 thanks to generous funding from First 5 Marin, the Marin Community Foundation and private donors. This office serves preschools, elementary schools and childcare centers throughout the Marin County and North Bay region including: Novato, San Geronimo Valley, San Rafael, Marin City, Sausalito and the Shoreline Districts. Over the next few years, we plan to have a total of 75 Bookcase Libraries supported by First Teachers throughout our Marin County office region. For more information about the Marin office, contact Barbara Siskin at basiskin(at)pacbell.net.
