Crafting Multimodal Responses to Picturebooks at Home with Your Child
Ling Hao is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of South Carolina. She works with different ELL families and Chinese immigrant families. Her research focuses on exploring emergent bilingual children’s multimodal meaning-making process and promoting the literacy development of students with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds. She is the co-editor of an upcoming book, Multimodal Literacies in Young Emergent Bilinguals: Speaking Back to Print- Centric Practices.
