Rong Zhang is a Ph.D. candidate at Purdue University. Her research is focused on children’s literature and reading, especially for wordless book analysis and young children’s multimodal reading. She also conducts research on bilingual education with focuses on parents’ perspectives, family literacy, and teachers’ perspectives. She has an upcoming article, Español, el idioma que nosotros hablamos: A Collective Case Study of Home Language Use from School Community Journal.
